Milo Murphy's Law Wiki

Baritone in a Deli is one of the four songs that show up during The Mezzo Sopranos opera, as featured in the episode "Smooth Opera-tor". It plays during the opening act, in which Antonio (portraying the boss of the Mezzo Soprano family), notes to his underlings that a member of the Baritone family has entered his delicatessen shop without permission, as they discuss to punish him thoroughly for it.

Since Milo ended up backstage as the opera begins, he observes from there during the song, as he notices Murphy's Law taking effect.

How dare a Baritone to come into our deli
He's lucky I don't punch him in the belly
If he dare to sing against our wishes
He'll soon be sleeping with the fishes

We hear you, boss, we hear you, boss
He's really got his wires crossed
We're not a bunch of albatross
I know
And naturally, I'm not a crow

This guy, the Baritone, really is a piece of work
He's worse than that shaved ice-selling mustached jerk
you know the one of who I'm talking
The guy who can't sing while he's walking

We hear you, boss, we hear you, boss
You certainly got your point across
For words, you are not at a loss
You think?
I am going to push him in the drink

You know that Baritone thinks he's gonna tell us
Which note to sing and try to make us jealous
If he doesn't watch what he's singing
I'll box his ear and all he hears is ringing

We hear you, boss, we hear you, boss
You certainly got your point across
We should soak him in spaghetti sauce
Of course
Then he's going to wake up with a horse!
