  • I was looking at your reply on the Mr. Phillips talk page and noticed that your signature is broken. It displays {{SUBST:User:Arend/Sig2}} when it should display your username. You may want to fix that.

    • Okay then.

First, when you're just viewing an older revision.

When you're viewing any revision via a revision history page (like this one), you will most likely see this kinda stuff under the article title:

      9C76D7DF-7137-433C-B04B-8FFA9FDF01CC

Pay attention to the text specifically calling it a revision, and the navigation text under it. That doesn't show up when you're viewing the article normally.

If you click on the "Latest revision" link, you will go to the normal article.

Next, when you're editing an older revision, the editor will tell you so via a notification. Said notification goes as follows:

“You are editing an old version of this page. If you save it, any changes made since this version will be lost.”

The text is the same, but the notification bubble might look different depending on whether you're using the classic editor or the VisualEditor (in fact, the latter refers to notifications as "notices" instead). The revision history shows you've been using the VisualEditor, so let's look at that one: the notice bubble for that editor is a faint white and appears at the top right of the editing space (the bubble will point at a ⚠️ icon in the editing toolbar), like so:

      02099C2A-69E7-4089-A3D7-8EE485ED6B77

      Hope it helps!

    • Yeah, it does. Thank you. Sometimes these things can get really complicated, can;t they?

But I do like what you've been adding to the page. Just such a shame that Milo might not get renewed. :(

  • I wanted to show you this vid I found on the internet, but from the comments, you already beat me to it:

Sigh...poor Dan and Swampy. It looks like Phineas and Ferb ARE going to become the next Simpsons. Wether they want it to or not.

Colleen, you do realize Arend is from the Netherlands, right?

I mean, she should've. I do recall stating multiple times that I'm not American, and the banner atop my userpage and message wall says where I'm from as well...

Had to snipe you on that one there.

Hope you can like it and leave a review. Somneone else already does like it.

    • I know. I followed it, so I get email notifications about that story. Sorry I don't have much to say about it. Probably because I've read most of it already when you previewed it a year back.

Or perhaps it's because I don't feel like commenting about every single chapter. Would at least explain why I haven't really commented on any of Tlong's stuff.

I'm glad to hear there are other people reviewing your chapters as well, though.

    • Well, I'm glad that the fanfiction notifications seem to be fixed. Wasn;t sure if it was, that was one of the reasons why I was telling you about the new parts being up. But you did notice that I added a few things and took some things out of several of the chapters.

I haven;t read too many of his stuff myself.

Yeah,. it was a nice surprise to see that happening. Shows we are still trying to keep the spirit of Milo alive until Disney finds out what the heck it;s doing.

BTW, do you know how they're doing with that Phineas and Ferb movie?

        Loading editor
    • It's not the fanfic notifications that need to be fixed, it's the PM ones.

As for the movie, they're busy finishing it. I believe they're almost done and it'll come out this year, probably summer.

But if you're asking that just so they could work on MML Season 3... well, Dan and Swampy seem needing to heavily rely on how well the show goes on Disney+. Seems like Disney will only order S3 if MML becomes popular there.

Those goons will NOT cut them ANY slack at all, will they?! First it was if the movie does well, now it's if the whole series does well! Excuses, excuses! And all to weasel more Phineas and Ferb out of them! The Lords High and Mighty are so damn obsessed with Phineas and Ferb they all but DEMAND Poor Dan and Swampy just keep it going and forget about anything else, no matter how good it was.

So basically IF we get a season 3 we're looking at JUST Disney +?! Forget about Disney XD period? Jackasses down there!

  • I just noticed that they changed the runtime part on the main page of the wiki from N/A to TBA.

Does that mean the show has been renewed? Did anbyone drop any hints to anything? Do you know anything about it?

Sorry for the late reply again, but there's a lot to take into, and there's some parts I like, and some parts I don't.

So what I do like is that Milo discovers Amanda's amazing singing skills, and how Amanda didn't think much of it before Milo pointed that out. Milo trying to make a song for his dad's birthday with his friends, that okay as well, quite sweet of him.

But I don't see Zack and Melissa get so easily distracted that they forget their promise until it's very late. Milo is their best friend, they've always cared for them throughout the show. Even if the two love each other and decide to plan a date with each other, I think they would be responsible enough to put Milo's plea first, and plan their little date for some other time. Zack and Melissa aren't selfish.

But even if they somehow get distracted until it's too late, I also don't see Milo get extremely pissed at the both of them for simply forgetting rehearsal. Annoyed maybe, considering it's for his dad, but I think Milo should be more forgiving to his friends. For crying out loud, Melissa, his best friend for seven years, IS occasionally forgetful, if moments from "The Undergrounders" and the premise of "The Math Book" indicate anything!

All in all, the whole "Zack and Melissa forget rehearsal and Milo is extremely mad at them for this" plotline sounds out-of-character and like forced drama.

But like I said earlier, Milo discovering Amanda's lovely singing, and the general plot of Milo making a song for his dad, that's all fine and good.

OK....well then maybe Mort would be the one to get pissed at them? I mean when Zack and Melissa do get there Mort is the one dismantling the structure while Milo is taking Amanda home. He;s the one who gets pissed off at them for forgetting, and Milo is more hurt than anything.

Melissa in particular would practically be in tears for forgeting. She wonders if Milo is angry. Mort replies not that angry, but very hurt.

So Milo isn;t pissed, he's just very hurt that they forgot. He would forgive them the next day when they show up apologising profusely.

    • Anyway, I;m still working on Banned From The Ball. I can give you a small exerpt of some of what I have so far:

Amanda ran out the door of the Great Hall and for a moment stopped and looked around, unsure of where to go at that point. She looked down at her clasped hands, realising for the first time just what she did! She looked back at the dance, she actually left. She, the one who put the whole thing together, who was always obsessed with everything going smoothly, who put perfection before everything else, just ran out on the dance she had worked so hard to put together!

      All for Milo!

She looked up at the sky. It was supposed to be impossible! You weren;t supposed to be in love....really deep down in love..with someone who was so very different from you! Not personality-wise, but physically. He was a carrier of Murphy's Law! And she was always such a perfectionist who had a touch of OCD! She wasn;t supposed to fall in love with someone like him!

      But she did!

Suddenly she heard a familiar car honk and turned around to see her family's white sedan pull up in front of her with Teresa at the wheel.

“What took you so long, Hermana?” She asked. “Hurry up and get in! You don't want to miss your own band's concert, fine manager you would be if you did!”

Amanda quickly threw open the door and climbed inside. “Concert?” she asked.

“Big outdoor band concert happening right now, Ms. Manager! A fine one you'd be if you didn't show up to it! Here!” She threw the white dress that she had worked on to her. “Gotta wear something nice to it, don;t you think?” As Amanda changed Teresa took her to Milo's house.

  • How are you? I know it's been a while since I wrote to you. Hope you didnl;t think I abandoned you or the show or anything like that. Wouldn;t do that, do you think I work at Disney?

Anyway, I been putting in a lot of extra time at work which is why I haven;t written in a while. Just letting you know the next oart of Banned At The Ball should be done soon and I got a new story idea I might need your help with.
