  • Hey, Paige EM!

You've had more than enough warning at this point. If you continue to disregard our rules, you will receive a ban.

      Loading editor
    • For how long?

        Loading editor
    • Forever, Paige. You had your chance. In fact, you've had so many chances.

Our community has been extremely fair to you, and extremely tolerant of your actions. Many users here have tried so many times to ask you to respect our rules. Members of this community have spent countless hours doing their best to reason with you - they've been so patient and polite trying to communicate with you, yet you've screamed at them in all caps, completely disregarded anything they've said, and continued to disrespect our rules over and over again.

You've given us no reason to trust you. You haven't given us a single reason to believe that you'll stop vandalizing our wiki if we give you yet another chance, after all the chances we've given you. On top of this, you've been warned and blocked multiple times on other wikis for the same things. Yet even after all that, you still do the same things again and again.

So there is no reason for us to give you another chance, ever. You've had too many chances already, and you've still rejected them, right up to the end, even after my final warning.

So you're blocked forever. That's the path you chose, Paige... that is literally the results you asked for, and the consequence to your actions. And that is my final decision. It's completely out of my hands.

But if you actually believe that you deserve a second chance? If you legitimately feel like it's in you to start treating us with respect, and respecting the rules of our community? Then all I can do is give you a suggestion to try, if you want.

If I were in your place, I would leave a message on your wall. The message would be an apology to the community for your actions, and an acknowledgment of what you'd done wrong. It would be a message promising that, in the future, you would listen and cooperate as part of the community, and that you would respect the wiki's rules. And finally, you would ask the community if you could have another chance.

And maybe, they'd be willing to give you another chance. Or maybe they won't. But it's in the hands of the community.

Because I have no mercy left for you right now, Paige. But I would do anything for my community. They trusted me with this position, and my voice and every action belongs to them, and what I think is best to keep our community safe and strong. And if they're willing to forgive you and accept your apology, then I'd be willing to give you one more chance.

  • Is there a specific reason why you sometimes keep uploading a barrage of all sorts of random MML videos on the wiki without ever placing them on the articles? It had been discussed here, but no one seemed to have contacted you about the influx of unused videos we see at Special:Videos.

I suppose giving it a read is good advice though. Seren noted on there that the random non-promo clips you uploaded should be kept off the wiki, and the promos and songs should be placed on the articles.

I think it's also best if you kept an eye on the videos we already have uploaded on the wiki, too. I already uploaded this one a few days ago.

Arend wrote: You still have not explained why you keep uploading random MML video clips on the wiki. I'm pressing again because you've been doing it yet again, despite what I've told you earlier.

I have seen clips on other wikis, so why can't I?

If you had read this thread I urged you to read earlier, you would've known why you can't just upload random clips here. Since you apparently didn't read it, and probably won't either, I'll just quote some of the arguments here.

“Personally, I'm not a big fan of having full clips on the wiki - videos of songs, etc, serve a really good purpose on their song pages, and promos/trailers can be good to collect, but when it comes to random moments, etc, I think they're better off in writing. There's no reason we should be youtube for MML - especially since it's really important that we respect copyright and only use what we need for information as an encyclopedia!”
      —Serendipitacely

“Great points, we are not youtube. So lets keep things simple with just the promos.”
      —WaffleTail260

What it basically boils down to, is that we're an encyclopedia, not a video streaming site with no regard to copyright infringement.

Of course we'd like to include songs and promo videos, like the Phineas and Ferb wiki, but you take it a step too far by uploading random clips that could also easily be described with text and images.

Also, I haven't seen random clips being uploaded on any of the cartoon wikis aside from the ones you've been on. So, like I said on the thread regarding quotation marks, while I can't argue with your own experiences, that doesn't mean you should apply your standards on wikis that don't support them – especially when no other wiki does that either (yeah, that last thread is also about quotation marks, but the same argument applies).

Besides, on most of the wikis I know you've been on (especially the Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure and Big Hero 6 Wikis, you were the only one who keeps uploading random clips in the first place, so I'm not sure if I should even take your reasoning seriously.

  • Hey Paige EM!

You've been warned about this more than enough times by other editors, yet to this day you still refuse to show our community any respect.

This community has been very generous and exceedingly tolerant of your actions and behavior here, but there has to be a limit. I've been reluctant to act on your behavior because you seem to like the show, and you seem to like participating in the community, but in reality, it's not fair to the other editors to have to waste their time undoing your edits and writing paragraphs explaining our rules just because you can't find it in yourself to cooperate.

Further refusal to cooperate with our community will lead to a warning.

I though those new facts were minor enough to not give a whole lot away.

I don't say Recurring Raccoon because not only has he not been given a real name, but he is also not a huge character in this show.

  • Both times you did are literally counterproductive, as in you didn't provide any explanation to either removal. Since Dakota and Cavendish's role in said episode have somewhat of a relevancy to the arc (as small as it may be), there's no reason to simply remove them without any explanation.

    • NOTHING STATES WETHER OR NOT THAT THEY ARE CHASING ANYONE!!

        Loading editor
    • So why are they conspicuously shown right after Milo and the director behind Tobias Trollhammer? Combined with the fact that Cavendish is eyeing suspiciously over Dakota's shoulder?

I believe it's clearly intended that Cavendish and Dakota were chasing Milo in that moment.

  • I have noticed that you keep removing them, like here, and sometimes replace double quotes (") with single quotes ('), which is unneccesary. Please explain why you keep doing that.

    • ...let's just say that you try to change the quotation mark usage so it befits your standards. (Which kind of is a problem when they're different from what is generally accepted, and you just keep doing it without any sort of discussion or without anyone agreeing with them)

  • I've checked the Closed Captions of all their major appearances, and as explained here, NONE of their mentions are spelled with a lowercase P. So please, just let the "Pistashion" spelling be.

    • The English name of those antagonists is not a proper noun, it's not even in any dictionary.

...so you agree that "Pistachion" is a name made up by the creators, and thus should be capitalized?

  • Hey um, I don't understand why you had to move Recurring Raccoon to Reoccurring Raccoon, especially when the front image in the infobox literally has the name "Recurring Raccoon" spelled out.

  • You've been doing a lot of major edits on the wiki without consulting the rest of the community, not to mention ignoring other user's concerns about it on top of that. Please stop changing things according to the way you see fit and take the time to respond and discuss so we can all decide these things together: Talk: Professor Zone

    • No one needs to ask to edit.

    • It is true anyone can edit a wiki, but a wiki only succeeds because everyone on the wiki works towards a common goal together. Before making major edits to large amounts of work done by other users, you should consult the community to make sure everyone agrees or at least understands what's being done. Others may have different ideas than you and if users don't understand what you're doing or you haven't aligned the community with your goals, it's more likely that counter-productive edits will occur. Please consider others, especially when taking down things others have helped put together.
More generally, even for changes you don't consider major or controversial, it helps others to include small explanations or descriptions of your edits.

    • Well how can I ask everyone?

        Loading editor
    • If you want to discuss something, nearly anywhere will do as everyone will see it and those interested will get in touch. If you need a place to start the way I think about it is, if you want to talk about a specific page: that page's talk page, a specific user: their message wall, a topic to do with multiple pages: a forum thread. But those aren't strict guidelines. What's more important is you should respond to others if they want to talk to you.
