Music War is the second of four songs that appear in The Mezzo Sopranos opera, as featured in the episode "Smooth Opera-tor". Following Baritone in a Deli, the Mezzo Sopranos then noticed the same Baritone singing on their turf, as they declare a music war without Antonio's permission.
During the song backstage, Milo decides to remain there and keep the opera from falling apart for the sake of Amanda's enjoyment hours.
Lyrics[]
He's singing on our turf, you know
I think he wants to fight us
If he doesn't watch his step
I'm going to give him laryngitis
It was just a minor scale
So we're not going to the mattresses
If I get a chance
I'm gonna hit him where he practices
He's asking for it night and day
I'm gonna smash him in his clavicles
He's singing not that good, you know
It's barely even magical
We're not supposed t'act on this
The Don told us to be practical
If he keeps it up
Then he'll be sleeping with a mackerel
(This is war)
That's not your call to make
(A music war)
This is a big mistake
(We're going to war)
Why can't you see
(A music war)
Stop singing over me!
This is a war, a music war
We can't avoid it anymo-ore
This is a war, a music war
We can't avoid it anymore!
