Phineas and Ferb is Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh's previous Disney animated series, which takes place in a shared universe with Milo Murphy's Law.
It first premiered on Disney Channel on August 17, 2007 and then on February 13, 2009 on Disney XD. The series originally ended simultaneously on both networks on June 12, 2015, with Disney XD having a marathon of the series leading up to it. The series later aired a standalone special in November 2015 on Disney XD. On January 13, 2023, a revival of the series was announced with fifth and sixth seasons, each comprising 20 half-hour episodes.
A crossover episode between the two shows, "The Phineas and Ferb Effect", aired on January 5, 2019 serving as the sequel series' second season premiere.
