I question her ability to breathe as you don't see any motion that would indicate breathing. Such a sureal exprience might have taken less time than depicted, and the changing colours and appreances of the Xoetropers (one of my new favourite phrases) might have been apparitions of oxygen starvation. On the other hand, once she's back in a votex portal thing she screams a bit and, to be fair, who actually know what happens in that scene.
