  • As we all know, Disney not treated very well to the series, (although the series would now be broadcast on Disney Channel, once a week, at 7 in the morning) so it makes me wonder if the second season it will be the last.
Recall that a certain site stated that Milo's production was ending. (https://tombcartoonmonkeyskeleton.blogspot.com/2018/01/work-around-town-too.html)

Another thing is that many of the writers and crew have left recently, like Joshua Preutt (https://twitter.com/zombietardis/status/1021056681503932416) and Ashley Simpson. They are moving on to other shows in Disney Channel/XD or other networks.

And despite the fact that several voice actors and the creators upload photos working on the series, this would be a post-production thing.

    What do you think?

    • If it ends, I hope it has a proper ending. I don't want another Wander Over Yonder situation where the executives cancel a good show before it can have a proper ending.

    • I think I'm going to sound weirdly optimistic in the face of all this, so I'll start by saying, by all means, the second season may be our last - but there is no reason to resign to that, and losing all hope now will lose us a third season for sure.  There is a lot of reason to believe we won't have another season, but I'm gonna skip that for now, because I want to talk about some of the positives -

      1. If the show is canceled for good, we will know from the creators, who will know from Disney itself. No third party website can give us sincere information about that!

      2. It's completely normal for a crew to leave after finishing a season - they can't stay if they have nothing to work on! They are all leaving to find work other places because that's what they do for a living - they'll all be back if/when we get a third season!

But now, onto some important stuff!

      1. Many countries worldwide were eager to promote it and begin airing as soon as they finished their own post-production.

      2. MOST IMPORTANTLY - The second season hasn't even aired in America yet! We need to wait until January to make final decisions on that - that's when we'll be able to judge Disney's season 2 promotions, and that's when we'll be able to make any kind of difference. Our show will be airing on Disney Channel - not Disney XD. That will get us a lot more views, and we can do our best to contribute by supporting it as much as possible when it does air.

Disney does not have our stats for Season 2. They don't have a view count, but they will in January, and we can do our best to make it a great one.

It might not win us a third season, but at least we tried our best in the face of whatever Disney is trying to pull.

      3. And three, most relevant to us right here, right now - is that we're a wiki. We've got a much bigger impact on the fandom, and therefore the show, then we tend to think we do in day to day life. A good wiki is enough to draw someone in and give them a life-changing interest, while a sloppy, unfinished wiki is enough to give someone the impression that a show isn't worth watching.

By showing a clean, active wiki, we're showing that our show is important to the fans. Wikis inspire new fans, curious onlookers, artists, and more - so the better we make our wiki, the more we've contributed to our beloved show.

      TL;DR:

We can't give up on our show before it's even gotten the chance to air. Disney will be gathering season two's view count starting January, and we can do our best to make it a good one. Any official news will come from the creators themselves, and as a wiki, we can do our best to show our dedication and inspire new fans by making our wiki amazing!

Excellent points. I would also like to be positive in this. But if I had to say something at the moment, I would say that this second season is the last, but hey, I may be wrong.
      - For example, they may renew the series a few days before the premiere of the second season in the USA. It happened with Tangled.
      Thanks for comment.

    • Just have faith, I seem to remember it was quitley given a second season at the end of the first season. Unfortunately we need to wait for the second season premiere in the US first before since it was done in our country even though the second season is airing in others first :/

I thought Disney had ordered MML Season 2 at the same time as Star's Season 3, they announced both orders at the end of February 2017, anyway. You know, when we were only ten episode segments in, and were about to get twelve more the following month.

    • You know ever since Milo saved the world in the Phineas and Ferb effect, everyone at his school is starting to warm up to him And also, I would like to see more episodes that include the other Phineas and Ferb characters

    • I hope this show doesn’t end up like Gravity Falls (a really great show ends after 2 seasons). But as long as it doesn’t end on a cliffhanger I guess I can’t complain too much. They might’ve ended season 1 on a cliffhanger to make sure it didn’t get cancelled before season 2 but that might not work next time and the series finale could have a huge cliffhanger that never gets solved. So I hope they wrap stuff up in the season 2 finale just in case it is the series finale but hopefully it won’t be. Also I made a petition for there to be a season 3: https://www.change.org/p/the-walt-disney-company-make-a-season-3-of-milo-murphy-s-law-mml

Well, maybe but that would still be a big IF. IF it gets renewed (which is BETTER otherwise FALSE ADVERTISING!) and IF they can do it as well as they did Milanda.

How out of touch are you.

First of all, they've been busy with Candace Against the Universe during 2018 - 2020. It's almost finished (or maybe it IS already finished, *shrug*), as all that needs to be done is some touch-ups and voice lines as of now. Disney+ will get that movie in the summer.

Second, they didn't take an exceptionally long time with Season 2. It was artificially delayed by the execs at Disney, as Dan and Swampy expected The Phineas and Ferb Effect to be aired in April of 2018, but Disney US didn't say anything about MML for a looooong time, not until TPnFE aired in Japan in August of that same year.

Actually, the fact that America had to wait until the beginning of 2019, when most of Europe already had the entire first half of Season 2 aired within a few weeks in September 2018, and India had that same half plus a couple more in November 2018, is definite proof that Disney USA was artificially delaying Season 2.

Besides, Dan, Swampy and the rest of the crew already had tons of ideas for MML S3, but Disney has as of right now NOT greenlit Season 3 (they instead asked for a new PnF movie for Disney+, which is Candace Against the Universe)

Yeah. Let;s hear it for the Lords High and Mighty at the Disney Corporations everybody!!

      (blows razzberry)

Their problem, as I've been saying for a while, is they just will NOT let Phineas and Ferb go! Like Arend said, Dan and Swampy WANT to do Milo, they have ideas for Milo, they would gladly get back to it at the drop of a hat! But nooooooooooo....Disney just can;t accept the fact that Phineas and Ferb are DONE!

Ironically Dan and Swampy said they wanted to end Phineas and Ferb when they did so the show wouldn;t be run to the ground like The Simpsons. But I think, if their bosses are any indication, that's what it's gonna end up being!

Not at the expense of something they were obviously working so hard on. Don;t think that's what they had in mind.

Besides I hear Disney + isn;t all that great anyway. Been hearing lots of complaints about it, and people have been cancelling it soon after The Mandelorian ended.

    • The problems with Disney+ were inevitable launch day teething problems and all those people who got Disney+ just for The Mandalorian are, in all likelihood, going to renew their subscriptions in October for season two, and that's assuming that they aren't currently watching the last season of Clone Wars and aren't going to stick around for all the Phase 4 Avengerverse content that we know is coming.

    • It is entirely possible that MML season 3 will drop on cable before it shows up on the app. The third season of Ducktales is supposed to premier on April 4 on the Disney Channel, which means that I will wind up watching the downloads from iTunes, as Ducktales season 3 won't show up on Disney+ until after the entire season has aired, which will be sometime next year.

Good or not (and I personally find 3 grown men's voices coming out of characters that are supposed to be 10 and not even going through puberty yet like MIlo to be VERY creepy) Disney reruns it way too many times a day, up to 12 times!

No matter how good a show is, do we really need to see it 12 times a day?
