  • I didn;t remove parts of her early life! That wasn;t me! I just corrected the spelling of a few words, that's all I did!

    • Revision history says otherwise. It's shown that you have removed TONS of stuff twice already. Not just the stuff I added in her Early life section, but also tons of stuff I have written before that happened.

Not to mention that the one section I think you intended to fix spelling mistakes had already been expanded by me as well.

If you really didn't remove anything on purpose, you must've been editing an older revision (e.g. this one), but I would have no idea how you managed to get to an older revision thinking it was the current one, nor how you never realized you've been removing tons of info that way; twice in a row.

I honestly haven;t been removiong things, I swear I have NOT removed anything! All I did was correct some mispellings, that's ALL I did!! I did NOT remove things!

Don;t you know me by now? You know that I like Amanda, I like what you've been adding about her, I did not nor would I ever remove things! Whoever was doing that was NOT me! That was either a glitch or someone else but it was not me and I'm honestly hurt thinking you would ever think it was me!

    • But those revisions don't lie; those info removals are in the same revisions as two of your fixes! They HAVE to be from you and you alone!

Plus I really doubt that someone else has access to your account.

Like I said before, maybe you were editing an old revision without realizing, instead of the current page as is.

Trace your steps back a bit: how did you access the page either of those times?

    • But I didn;t touch anything but those two words I corrected! I didn't touch anything else! I didn;t make a move on anything you did! I would never delete anything you did! I likied everything you wrote. I would never just delete them for no reason!

Look, I just won;t do anything else, from now on if I see a word misspelled I'll just leave it as such.

    • Dude, I believe 100% that you didn't touch anything but the few things you corrected, and I absolutely don't mind that you're correcting things such as typos and misspelling. I never said you should stop doing anything! That's ridiculous.

What I'm actually trying to say here is that you need to watch out that you're not editing an older revision, or else you'll inadvertently delete tons of info like the previous two times I pointed out earlier.

Because I think you've somehow been editing a specific older revision instead of the current version. That's the only way your side of the story makes sense alongside what really happened.

In other words... just make sure you're editing the current version of the page, OK?

(Do you maybe need a few pointers how you can recognize you're viewing/editing an older version of the page?)

Maybe just a few. I honestly just wanted to do nothing more than correct a few mispellings I saw.

    • Okay then.

First, when you're just viewing an older revision.

When you're viewing any revision via a revision history page (like this one), you will most likely see this kinda stuff under the article title:

      9C76D7DF-7137-433C-B04B-8FFA9FDF01CC

Pay attention to the text specifically calling it a revision, and the navigation text under it. That doesn't show up when you're viewing the article normally.

If you click on the "Latest revision" link, you will go to the normal article.

Next, when you're editing an older revision, the editor will tell you so via a notification. Said notification goes as follows:

“You are editing an old version of this page. If you save it, any changes made since this version will be lost.”

The text is the same, but the notification bubble might look different depending on whether you're using the classic editor or the VisualEditor (in fact, the latter refers to notifications as "notices" instead). The revision history shows you've been using the VisualEditor, so let's look at that one: the notice bubble for that editor is a faint white and appears at the top right of the editing space (the bubble will point at a ⚠️ icon in the editing toolbar), like so:

      02099C2A-69E7-4089-A3D7-8EE485ED6B77

      Hope it helps!

    • Yeah, it does. Thank you. Sometimes these things can get really complicated, can;t they?

But I do like what you've been adding to the page. Just such a shame that Milo might not get renewed. :(
