P.S. I probably should put a picture in that picture frame or get rid of it at some point, but at this point it's slightly nostalgic.
A few things about me
Me? I'm a math-science inclined Aussie guy in his early 20s.
My favourite show is Phineas and Ferb (Sorry MML). Other recent cartoon shows I thoroughly enjoy include "Wander Over Yonder", "Gravity Falls", and "Star vs the Forces of Evil".
Also a fan of Star Wars, Doctor Who, Thunderbirds (are go!), and a whole bunch of other stuff.
I've come into Milo Murphy's Law (more or less) off the back of Phineas and Ferb. PaF may be my favourite (and yes that may be heresy with me being an admin here) but MML's an incredible show that is definitely right up there with it. I don't think MML will quite overtake PaF as my favourite as they're different kinds of shows with different core ideas and structures, and I grew up a bit with Phineas and Ferb. Although in most ways they're both so good that it's hard to find a clear winner. But compared to anything else these shows are in a league of their own.
My favourite character is Hamosaur. Truly the greatest of us. Dr Zone is pretty cool, being an alien cyborg time traveller with an intertemporal bro as his side kick. and I absolutely love his show. Gets me laughing every time I watch those one and three halves of his episodes they show. I also really love The World's Greatest Goulash, the hero of humanity. I suppose there’s also all the main characters who are just amazing. Anyone else I’ve forgotten to mention? Oh and everyone else. They’re great too. I do have a soft spot for a lot of background types after I started recording info about them for the wiki.
My favorite pages
- I like adding references to Phineas and Ferb to the Phineas and Ferb page. Partially because I found it so much fun spotting them all.
- Some pages I look forward to contributing to are all of those episode transcript pages! I used to access those sorts of pages on the Phineas and Ferb wiki all the time to check something quickly or to have a load of fun reliving it all.
- I've got to add Sentient Blob to my favourite pages. I believe it's the first wiki page I've added. Definitely the first major page, hopefully it'll stay major, I blabbed on for a bit there and I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking it should be cut back. I had way too much fun writing it. I've probably added more words to one of the transcripts, but not by much.
- I've also added a bit to The Doctor Zone Files (show), Time Bureau, Time Stream, and Minor Characters.
What I'm doing
I try to visit everyday but what can go wrong, will go wrong. Worst case scenario, all my friends and my friends’ friends laugh at me and the world explodes. The case just below that is that I only catch up with the wiki once a week. I try to still check at least my wall every day for those who can’t wait to tell me how great Hamosaur is. Doesn’t having a life suck.
I add small things in a number of places every so often but I also try and add some big things too. A lot of my big contributions are in the fav page section. As it says, I'll be happy to add Phineas and Ferb references. I'll probably add more stuff to those other pages I mention too (except Sentient Blob ;) I think he has enough text). I've been slowly working through the transcripts. It's fun picking out all the small details while I do it, and I hope they're a good resource to others. Though recently I haven’t done that much as it takes a bit of time. I've also been recording where all those pesky side characters appear and adding their appearances to the Minor Characters page.
I’ve also written a few blog posts, mostly about trying to understand how time travel and other stuff works in the show. They seem to mostly come out once a month. Through no planning of my own, it just usually turns out to be a month since the last one when I think ‘Hey, maybe I should actually get round to writing down all my crazy ideas together in a semi understandable rant’.
I'm also on the phineas and ferb wiki, though I’m much less active there these days. Mostly I’m just categorising pictures, usually when I want to procrastinate. So if you see me on there, tell me to get back to whatever I’m supposed to be doing.
